Westin 21 0001 Oval Step Bar Review

Do not buy this item! The steps are crumbling due to bad plastic, they don't last more than 2 years max and each one costs $30 to replace. So far I've spent 150 to replace footpegs in 2 years. I will replace the bars with a better brand. My wife's truck has a competitor brand that has been around since 2005 and never had to change the running board! Buyer warning! Never buy a "WESTIN" product.

Replacement footpegs for my Westin 21-2775 Platinum Black Oval Step Bar. The original set lasted over six years. I wish it was available in tire rubber material. Replacing this item was a simple task. The old ones were falling apart, the ends were against to align them and the barrel clamps to keep them in place and not slide on the guide pin. but overall it was an easy swap, less than 30 minutes to swap out all 4.

I poked around and found that they fit my 2015 Toyota Tacoma's chrome (4" oval) footpegs. A better description of the wheelbase for each hole would confirm the fit prior to purchase. Easy to install. The hardest part was removing of the remaining pins from my original footpeg pad. My original footpegs deteriorated after only four years in the car. They are lightweight plastic but I'm not sure if they will last much longer. But now that I know they will fit I would buy another for another pad…

Bought these to replace the stock pads on my 2013 Tacoma Double Cab and they fit perfectly. They came with 5 barrel clamps (the 6th pin shouldn't have any) and the dimensions were the same as the original pads. Removing the old pads and clips was a bit tricky at first, but once you get the hang of things things get a lot easier. I used Bojo tools to remove the pads and a flathead screwdriver and pliers to remove the barrel clamps. Installation was even easier. Use a rubber mallet to lightly tap
