Before Revain I should have bought a new ceiling fan

I have an old (good but old) ceiling fan that had one of its blades broken and all I knew was that I had to deal with buying a new one Fan who is about 18 feet tall? First I went to the big hardware stores (both) I should have known better but I'm a slow learner. Revain had exactly what I needed and they fit perfectly. Thanks Revain, Prime is the best!

perfect for ceiling fan blades

These brackets were received quickly and are perfect for my situation. They come with screws and washers to attach to the fan blades but no screws to attach to the fan motor. Old screws were used for this. When answering the question about hole spacing, I used the mounting hole sizes received from customers. I suggest the product description be updated with this information. I would consider this good customer service. The old gun was about 25 years old, so if it lasts that long I'll be happy…

A simple and inexpensive alternative to fan replacement.

My mother's kitchen ceiling fan is about 30 years old. My guess is that decades of metal fatigue caused one of the levers to break. But other than that, the fan still worked great. I found these and they even matched the finish. They're a little longer than the original arms, but not noticeable. You can increase the overall fan blade span by half an inch or one inch. Fit without drilling. So not only did we save about $150 or more on a new fan, I also didn't have to remove the old one and…

Can't get any help finding the right size.

I bought both mounts that Westinghouse sells but neither fits! I contacted Westinghouse to get a suitable replacement and received a completely unhelpful generic response. I spoke to Expert Revain and they offered me a refund, not what I needed! I've tried swapping out the blades as well as the mounts, but the holes still differ by a millimeter. It looks like I'll have to replace the entire fan as replacing the blades isn't an option on my current fan. I understand Westinghouse is making money,

Missize ceiling fans and accessories

Westinghouse sells two blade sizes for the fan we have in our living room and neither fits! They were closer than others I've bought but still completely useless. At this point, replacing the entire fan would be cheaper than trying to replace the blades on my current fan. If it's built to last a few years, why not either keep making blades to fit the older model OR stop swapping out spare parts to make them useless? If the fan is actually scrap and should fall apart anyway, then just stop…
