Price WAS GOOD MADE IN GERMANY EXCELLENT but when we tried to chop the spring onion it came out mushy not sharp clean chopped. So I had to use kitchen scissors, they make a clean, sharp cut of scallions and other herbs. The reason I bought this product as I thought it grabs more herbs and with multiple blades it gets faster why isn't it sharp maybe if the blades were sharper.

I bought these to see how they would work for grinding whole leaf pipe tobacco. Hand grinders seem to be too flimsy for pipe tobacco if you don't want a shag. I just tried them on an ounce leaf and they worked well. Slightly better than cutting the ribbon. I made a cut which I think is fine if you want to make your own cupcake.

We especially like to use parsley and coriander, but it used to be a lot of cutting and chopping – that was a lot of work. A friend recommended this cutter and WOW it was almost like a miracle cure for us. It's finely tuned and multiple (5) interlocking blades slice through parsley, cilantro, and scallions with ease. Easy to clean with a water jet and a special cleaning brush is included. I wish I knew about this sooner. This is a real winner!

This only works with flat-leaved herbs like basil that you can stack for cutting. He will cut the leaves into strips. It is intended for cutting strips. With herbs like parsley and short-leaved herbs like thyme or rosemary, it is very disappointing due to its design. A cleaning comb is helpful. I was surprised by their weight but they are very well made. I like the little comb that comes with it so I can clean the blades. I wash them immediately after use, but they are stainless steel, dry and clean. It seems that if treated well, they can be passed from generation to generation. And they cut great! :) Edit: I have to say however after reading other reviews that I use it to make salads for one so I'm not sure how they would handle it if I had to chop bunches of herbs.
