I never thought I could HATE a hamburger press!

I never thought you could HATE a hamburger press. At the end of my press conference, both my daughter and I thought it was a piece of junk. You MUST use parchment paper to even try to get your burger out of this press, but that would be fine if that was the only flaw. When you take your burger out of the press, you won't see a perfect patty, even with parchment. Three more quick negatives. First, the 1/2 pound patty weighed 9.25 ounces when fully compressed (I was wondering why my meat didn't…

Would give five stars if you could take it apart for cleaning without losing the patty size/setting settings Tips: Use a COLD burger to minimize sticking. Put the patty paper on the bottom, put your burger on, put another sheet of P-paper on the burger, then press. Simple, clean, no problems

We had a smaller version of this. where the patty is about 1/2 the size you can make with it. We have had it for many years and have used it often. But we decided to switch to this one to allow for bigger burgers, or at least change the size to what we wanted. Both are easy. For those who are struggling, you really should use wax paper squares. Makes things much cleaner and easier. Use the bottom square, place the meat on top, place another square on top and press down. We've found that if you…

High quality, durable press.

A simple idea that makes cooking easier and faster. We make large batches (several dozen) of hamburger patties at a time to cook and freeze. Whenever we need a quick snack, it's easy to defrost and reheat in the microwave. I make a batch of seasoning/softener to mix with ground beef and venison, add a few breadcrumbs and they stay nice and moist even after freezing. In any case, this quality press is made of aluminum and is very heavy compared to the cheap plastic versions. My husband attached…

Can't understand all the good reviews 2020

Is it used to make cakes? Yes. The hinged design is imperfect? Yes. Is it out of balance? Yes. Is it a royal pain to clear? A thousand times YES. I have always believed in quality products. This is one of the few times I wonder what the hell people are talking about. This patty machine (the only version I bought) is extremely heavy. When the top hinge is raised to allow the patty to be loaded or unloaded, it tends to tip backwards at the slightest movement. This happened several times and I had
