I have the thick hair version. I have really thin hair but there is a lot of it. This brush is amazing! I tried the "wrong" wet brush but never again. I love this brush! And for owners of fine hair that often gets tangled, this brush is perfect. I know a lot of people say that you shouldn't brush your hair when it's wet as it can cause hair breakage. I have long, thick, wavy hair. Cleaning it is the worst part of my day, and for the last few years I've stopped cleaning it altogether except before washing. This brush made combing more bearable. I don't stand there for 30 minutes trying to untie all the knots.; Now combing your hair takes less than 5 minutes. I wish I had bought this brush years ago

This was described as an original wet brush so I didn't look too closely and only bought to replace my wet brush which was cracked and the handle was broken off. When I received it, the packaging said it was thick hair, which Revain's description didn't mention. I'm sure this brush will work well for its intended purpose but I have fine hair with micro bead extensions and the bristles on this brush are too hard for my use compared to the original. I've had this brush for myself and it's the best brush I've ever had. So when I bathe my dog, his woolly undercoat doesn't knot well; nothing helped. When I bought this comb I was skeptical at first. I really didn't think it would detangle hair let alone get it into any knots without breaking or snagging.
