It's a piece of metal.

The measurements are correct and it's hanging on my switch from my 2012 Fuji Newest 4.0. The suspension (as well as the derailleur, rear wheel and fork) ripped off when I went off the road. Barring another Cataclysm like this, I don't see this as a failure.

Poor derailleur design

I bought this suspension for my 2012 Fuji Reveal 1.0. This trailer has a rather poor design. The point where it meets the frame is quite flimsy so it can be bent inwards very easily if you're not careful. A minor crash or crash on the drive side could end this hangup and your ability to shift.

Genuine, genuine bargain part

Cheaper than buying from a wheel manufacturer on a direct resale site, even without shipping. The part itself performs far better than the broken OEM dropout it replaced. I had to file a corner to fit it on a 10 year old BMC, although both visually and according to BMC it was clearly the right part. It seemed perfectly straight in its groove, but still had to flex it a bit with a dropout alignment tool to align it with the plane of the wheel. This required significantly more effort than an OEM…
