Wheels Manufacturing Dropout 59 Derailleur Hanger Review

This derailleur hanger fits my AR4 perfectly. Works great with Shimano derailleurs. The only thing I would like to point out is that it will not fit newer felts with a second screw hole. Felt also sells them directly on their website.

My felt frame is bent. Now the bike shifts perfectly. Even the Park Tools DAG couldn't fix the old one, the new one and maybe a backup is the ticket.

The wheels make the derailleur hangers work and they come right out of the box. That's all there is to say. I've heard they are made of a stronger alloy than most manufacturers, but I can't verify that.

I purchased this to replace the suspension on my 2015 Felt F4x and found it to be 2-3mm longer than the OEM suspension on my bike . No chain extension was required, but I had to adjust the rear derailleur to accommodate the extra length.

Although this is a good hangar, I would like to point out that the shape itself is suitable for a number of bikes, especially a number of felt sheets. However, it is slightly longer than the original version and also lacks the additional screw hole that the original bracket has. While that's not all, and the wheels and felt prove it, it does add extra stability. Like the proverbial "extra bolt" when you're assembling something, I always prefer to know the bike has all the parts you need…
