Yes ok, almost an exact replica of the real McCoy. You're a little sloppy with carbon and you measure 6 months yourself (I think you can do that!) as others have pointed out. It didn't snap into place at first so I had to bend the tabs a little (should say that in the instructions as I thought I bought the wrong size filter at first). Don't over bend as I'm sure they will break. I like that "taste" is one of the evaluation parameters here. MMM delicious.

So I ordered them from Revain. Most people replace the water filter but not the air filter, but it is very important to replace it at least once a year if not every 6 months. The air in your fridge circulates through an air filter, if you want your fridge to smell its best replace the air filter, it's worth it.
