Not So Good: Building Materials

I loved these vinyl tiles but after a lot of work they really don't look very good. It would be less work to lay real tiles and it would look 100% better! Peeled and glued plastic subway tiles also look better. Ultimately, such a tile looks very rough. I had to buy putty to level it. But really, I'll rip them out as soon as I have time and put the right tiles on top. It was a big waste and disappointment.

So worth it for building materials

Sorry for the blurry image as this is a photo of the house before purchase. I'm so glad I found her. I had a very hard time finding tiles (or "tiles") that I liked. Everything was too edgy or bright or boring or expensive. I found her and am very glad I found her. Adhesion is excellent. Sooo much better than the vinyl tile I bought at the big hardware store. They are very easy to cut. Overall I am very happy with my purchase.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Not trendy

Great for those on a budget

I think this is a really great tile for those on a budget. They were pretty easy to use. I cut everything out with a utility knife. They stick very well. If you mess up, scrape them off with a spatula and carefully remove them from the wall as they will get stuck after pressing. It would be great if they had a straight top or bottom, meaning three straight sides and one pointed side. If it were perfectly square there would be odd lines, but the pointed two sides add a lot of extra cutouts. The…

Good quality good for building materials

I needed something easy to install but not cheap. It was the perfect solution. I was skeptical at first but when I opened the box I was very happy. I installed it on my fireplace to update an outdated shiny black metal. It is very easy to install, I started cutting out with a knife and finished with scissors. The adhesive is very strong so removing and reapplying will not work. I had a tiny piece that I needed to remove and it was easy to get the glue off with rubbing alcohol. I like its…
