Decent 12v light source for truck bed

I bought these lights for my 5'7" truck bed. As you can see in the photos I've attached, the 4 strips illuminate my entire body of the truck. The amount of light is enough for my needs. I installed the system myself. I had to run a cable straight to my battery underneath my vehicle. The only problem was that the length of the cable that came with the kit was too short. put her in my bed because the tonneau cover blocks the loading light. Connected to trailer wiring harness. I don't know why anyone would ever need to connect wires directly to the battery (complains that the wire isn't long enough to get to the battery) as there are a lot of hot wires near the bed. I wanted my switch to be near the tailgate in bed and it worked great for that. After all, I don't need a cockpit switch when I'm standing at the back door to load/unload things. Great product with a few improvements!

Great kit, easy to install, highly recommend to anyone. One thing I did to make the light brighter instead of coming down the sides of the bed was cut a 1 x 2 piece of PVC at an angle. I bought a supply of PVC from Home Depot for about $3. I used a table saw to cut the 1 x 2 at a 35 degree angle. I then cut the pieces into 4 inch lengths, using two for each light source. After everything was cut out, the pieces were about 1 1/4 inch by 3/4 inch. This was placed between the lamp and the…
