This attachment makes perfect 45 degree bevels although it is slower than TS due to multiple cuts. It can be useful to roughly miter the TS and then finish the cut with this bit. I plan to do this in the future.
Used these to cut some beveled edges in 1 inch thick black walnut close. Dealt with it with ease. To make real edges, I removed most of the waste with a table saw, but during testing I didn't do this, and that's easy to manage.
When I first mounted a router on my router table, I was a bit apprehensive about its size. I had to trim the edges of a large Newell I was building. The chisel worked very smoothly and cut without kickback or roughness. I sanded the edge with 320 grit and done. This is a very smooth cutting attachment that leaves a very nice finished cut.
