    This is a tough piece.

I made a small template that I used to make giant dovetail joints (1.375 wide x 1 inch deep). The cuts are smooth and beautiful. a little to hit part of the cast iron countertop. He made a clean cut in the cast iron and didn't get bad results. Still razor sharp.

    It completes my tool kit

I have used its sisters in 1/2" and 1" versions and am very happy with them. The 1/2 inch bit is used most often in my furniture projects and the 1 inch version is used for large wood plank applications as my workbench that I am currently working on. I used this particular bit for testing purposes only. and everything indicates that it is in no way inferior to its sisters in terms of quality and performance. I bought it as an intermediate tool for such useful already used bits. I recommend.

    Comparable to Freud

Not bad. This one is quite sharp and cuts through jaws like butter; Haven't used it on hardwood yet. It's heavy because of the 1/2" shank, which I like because the extra bulk allows it to hold a bit more heat without burning the wood when I need it for a heavy cut. I'm very happy with it and it's about on par with Freud or any other high end manufacturer. If you've never used anything other than the cheap stuff that comes in 10 or 20 bit sets for thirty bucks is after you've tried a really good
