Pros
  • High-quality material ensures durability and longevity of the product.
Cons
  • Difficult to use without proper experience and expertise in dovetailing.

An 8mm shank may be an advantage

Good quality from Whiteside for your European (8mm shank) router or for a standard US router with an 8mm collet. I think the shank is slightly larger in diameter (.315" diameter) compared to 1/4" - which sometimes results in less chatter - which is good.

Pros
  • Industrial quality
Cons
  • Small parts
