Very good cut/shave

I used this to smooth out some ash with a Bosch 1617EVS. The bit did a great job, the router could use a little more power with this bit. The picture speaks for itself, it improved my woodworking, now I can squeeze big details. The maximum depth of cut I could get was 1/8 inch at half the drill diameter. You'd better hold on to your router or this thing might run away from you. Very happy with this racket. I have other white side pieces and none of them have disappointed.

Suitable for leveling panels

I have used this with a Woodpecker panel leveler. The bit was installed in my 3-1/4 PS router. at very low speed. The chisel worked well and cut quite cleanly throughout the process. I started slowly cutting less than 1/8 inch on each pass. In the end about 3/4 inch of the board was cut on both sides. The cutter shows no burn marks, but I suspect it's a little duller than when it started, which is to be expected with hard walnut wood. I would buy this blow again.

Great beat!

Received today and immediately started straightening wood biscuits. I was concerned that my 2-1/4 hp router wouldn't be able to handle this bit. I was wrong. This shot is incredible. Cuts through butter like a hot knife. There are cheaper bits that I haven't tried, but I still rate them a five for their solid construction and four cutting carbides. I give it an A for durability based on my experience with the grade and the thick carbides that will certainly hold up to many shapes. Worth every…

I like its simplicity and volume

Bought for planing boards, I like its simplicity and volume. I used it to level a fairly large slab of mesquite and it worked great! There are practically no planing lines, no breaks, but everything has a fresh beat. Hope it stays that good for multiple records. Mesquite is known for breaking beats, so it was just a warm-up. Oh and advice, give this beat plenty of time to spin. If I try to move too fast, my 12 amp router will stall. It takes a little longer to reach full speed due to its…

You get what you pay for. Qualitative!

The bat arrived quickly and in good condition. All edges of the bit were razor sharp and had plenty of protective wax/gum on them. I bought this router solely for leveling panels and sanding fascia boards with a router carriage. As this was the first one I've ever tried I have no comparison but as with all of my Whiteside Picks I'm very happy with its performance. My router is a DeWalt DW-618 (2 1/4 HP) and handled the hardfacing of the flash drive with no problems. By making passes and…
