Best I have ever used, great product for anyone!

I took a private one-story house made of aerated concrete with an area of 200 sq. M. to cover the Wi-Fi. Many smart home devices are used, now there are about 40 of them, and there will be 60-70, this is not counting smartphones, tablets, laptops, TVs and computers. As it turned out, aerated concrete weakens the signal quite well, and smart devices have small antennas and insufficient transmission power. To ensure reliable coverage, I had to take as many as two sets of TP-LINK Deco X60…

Pros
  • + reliability and ease of setup - "set it and forget it"; + Wi-Fi 6 and Mesh - a really seamless transition between access points, unlike crutches, like "create two WiFi with the same name, but different bands. " + simultaneous operation of 2.4 and 5 GHz band + you can give different names to the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands (more on that below) + it is possible to configure devices via http access (without an application and tp-link login), you only need to know the ip-address given to the device by the dhcp server; + stylish look.
Cons
  • - for some unknown reason, in the access point mode in the Deco application, the download and upload speeds are not shown on the main page (always zeros); - for techies there are very few settings. There is no way to even set static IPs for Deco. Those. they get an IP via DHCP and will be on the same network with all other devices. You can only set up a reservation on a dhcp server.

Great quality, did not expect at all for the price.

-really enjoyed it, plugged it in, pressed three buttons and it works stably -I have 2 points connected via a switch Has pros: -quick setup through the app, even a grandmother can -can work with each other both over the wire and in the wifi. If you disconnect the wire, it goes to the wifi, stuck the wire, it switched to the wire - can work as a router or access point -mesh - excellent signal - work according to the scheme, the main point, wire or wifi, the second point, the cable to the laptop…

If you are thinking about buying, take it without any discussion, you need to carefully understand the settings, for example, set the WIFI 2.4 network to disable wifi5 in the settings, and then connect all WIFI 5 devices and everything will work fine if there are two frequencies. If someone writes that there are problems, they simply did not understand. No problem!

Pros
  • Everything works fine, there were problems with the smart home. More than 40 devices a movie projector plus two video cameras - now everything works flawlessly.
Cons
  • This technique has no disadvantages.
