Quality is top notch, happy with everything.

I took Asus RT-AC87U as a replacement, I'm satisfied. It is clear that this router is not for everyone (who are interested in such pieces of iron, it is interesting to deal with it and have something to load it with). Its power and functionality are redundant for most, as well as its price.

Pros
  • I have had this router for about a week now, until I can confirm even part of the negative about it. An excellent router, in principle, I counted on what I got. Immediately uploaded the latest firmware from the Asus website. Works great via cable from a PC at 2.5 Gb / s (router and network port - 2.5 Gb / s, specially pulled the cable over 25 m.). Well, the rest of the devices via cable without question at 1 Gb / s (TV, set-top box, NAS). For NAS (QNAP D2 PRO) enabled 802.3ad port aggregation (on NAS and router). The coverage is about the same as that of Asus RT-AC87U, but the second 5 GHz band has even better coverage (channels 100-140), in the back rooms and corners of a 4-room apartment, the signal is "excellent", almost like next to a router, connection speed (smartphone) drops from the ideal 866 Mbps to only 400-520 Mbps, on the first range in the far rooms the signal drops to "good" and the connection speed drops to 320 Mbps or even less than 200 Mbps (although next to the router there is also a maximum of 866) . On the bands 2.4 and 5-1 I hung all the previous devices (more than 20 pieces), and on 5-2 only smartphones: my own and my wife (as often used to the maximum at all points in the apartment). It's strange, but as if all old devices are better to stick to 2.4 / 5.0, although I set everything to the maximum in the WiFi settings (AX chips), I thought there would be glitches, especially on 2.4. It does not overheat, at least I don’t feel it in any way, except that the top cover is slightly warm. Morally, I was ready for all sorts of dances with a tambourine such as third-party firmware, changing the region, etc., but as it turned out, everything is fine without it.
Cons
  • Well, except that it is very large, it barely fits on the shelf and the antennas protrude a little outward, because. it is desirable to move it away from the wall.

Not a bad product, but you can do better.

Well, friends, the router for 2022 is very poorly compatible, in particular the channels for 5 Hz, especially the second range. The operation of the router itself is stable, here I would like to praise the AZUS company, no breaks, etc. Recommended for purchases only by kulibins and geeks who know how to change the region, etc. Thus all problems are solved.

Pros
  • - Appeared very quickly in 2022 for this 👏🏻 - design is fantastic -full Wi-Fi 6(AX) -finally a working FTP server and download master torrents 👏🏻 -for gamers, that’s it, but for 2022 it’s probably only with the world of tanks game, they can and will give the best server there, and in other games, especially console games, it’s completely useless !
Cons
  • And now the most interesting: Channels 5Hz And so in our 2022 revision under the E0 code, the range of channels for 5grz networks is as follows: Channels of the first range 5Hz Channel 36 to 64 Here we immediately run into problems. Most devices in your home, in particular Samsung devices, work on channels 36 to 48 and 149 to 164 So what do we get? If you let the router put down channels on its own, then it can stupidly put some channel 64 and that’s it, half of the devices that are in your house will not see this channel, and as a result, they won’t be able to connect to it. Therefore, we manually set the channel from 36 to 48 and there will be no problems! )) Now started through the second band 5Hz It's much worse here. Channels from 100 to 136, in my house only the Chinese Xiaomi smartphone was able to connect to these channels, the rest did not see them point blank And then the turn of those Azus support came, there a person who does not understand at all, blames everything on devices that are trying to connect to him, so after a few correspondences he got me so much that I blocked him myself ! The bottom line is that the "employees" from Azus decided that in 2022, and maybe in Europe, I honestly didn’t understand, that’s exactly such a list of channels and that a router for 30 thousand cannot be with all channels, so that all devices are combined, because. Here we see a terrible atude towards the consumer, that is, towards us ! In principle, you can live without the second range, it is not so and not necessary, it's just frustrating anyway, since the price of the router is thirty thousand with such setups . The RoG launcher is just superfluous and now you go to the legendary address 19220228.50.01 (by the way, not 192202282022.01) and wait 10 seconds until the ROG screen saver loads, in my opinion you need the ability to turn off this 'new-worded' dashboard !

Excellent Wi-Fi Performance

According to my experience, this Wi-Fi router is an excellent option for users who want fast and reliable internet access at home. The device is equipped with the latest technologies, which makes it possible to achieve speeds of up to 10 Gbps. The performance is amazing, and I could stream 4k videos without any interruption. Additionally, the router has a great range, and I was able to use it even in my backyard. The only downside is the high price, but it is definitely worth it for users who…

Pros
  • Excellent Wi-Fi performance and range
Cons
  • High price

Unsatisfactory quality, I will not buy this again.

I contacted Asus technical support: by phone several times, I left requests on the support site. There is technical support - there is no sense. I reinstalled the firmware (4 times), changed the settings, reset the protocols to the "technical support" service: the Internet via WiFi worked cyclically - and it worked. Bottom line: 3 months of torment (I have a month, after that I sent it to the seller for transfer to the service center - to no avail: they didn’t even identify the problem…

Pros
  • Liked the unique look. For certain devices, it gives good internet speed. Convenient and clear setup, all kinds of magazines.
Cons
  • I am connected to the Beeline provider in Hong Kong, This router (GT-AX11000) when connected to Beeline (L2TP protocol) via WiFi, the Internet distributes cyclically: 2-5 minutes of high-speed Internet, a minute without Internet. While the Internet is - the speed pleases, but not for long. I connected the first modem, GT-AX11000 the second to the modem (protocol with automatic IP): GT-AX11000 stopped distributing Internet to smartphones. unfinished device, if you have a connection to the provider not via the L2TP protocol - you can try. Otherwise - wasted time and money, at least for the delivery of goods.

I didn't expect the quality to be so high.

Not a geek and not a gamer, I just needed a powerful enough device for stable and "honest" signal distribution in the home network. This comrade is fully consistent with all the tasks - both "on paper" and in life. An unusual look is a bonus. I'm satisfied :)

Pros
  • Everything from looks and easy setup to range and performance.
Cons
  • Haven't found it yet - maybe the price?
