$165 Trash

This piece of crap plays DVDs fine, but don't try to use apps. My internet/WiFi works fine, I can watch movies etc on my phone and iPad, but even when using a hard connection with an ethernet cable the movies stutter and keep stopping and the device doesn't respond to the remote control. I spent $165 for a smart DVD player for all regions. No junk. If it wasn't quite 2 months ago and it's happening. Bought warranty. The watch tells me it doesn't cover this issue. Buyer warning!

We look forward to you!

The unit I received was not as advertised, half the size. It worked well as advertised and played my videos in Zone 2 as I had hoped. The manual as-is doesn't say if the device can toggle back and forth to play DVDs and BluRay discs in ANY zone. My knowledge was limited to the DVD drives available to PC manufacturers. There used to be a limit to the number of switches, it was 5 times, then you get stuck on the last change! Maybe times have changed? I'll have to wait with bated breath to see if…

Pros
  • Blu-ray player and recorder
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Great and easy! Review 2021!

I love this player! I was looking for a player for my Japanese and Korean DVDs and most of the reviews here talked about their European ones. I'm here to report it works with all regions with no problems :) It's smaller than I initially thought which is great for the location, especially in a dorm. It's easy to connect to your TV and it comes with a manual on how to use the button to change the region for your DVDs. This needs to be done BEFORE you insert the disc ;) The controller is very easy
