Bought for my son, he could take notes and picked up calligraphy straight away, this set has pens that weren't available anywhere else

I am ordering these thinking they would be Mitchell calligraphy fountain pens like the one in the picture. But I got the Mitchell pen that I already had. Return these.

I've been painting with pen and ink here for a long time and I love using these nibs for all the different lines, even to feel them! Very fun and more than worth the price.

I am new to calligraphy and pen work and am having difficulty with this set. The nibs are stiff and don't hold much ink (you can barely write a whole word before having to dip again). And often too much ink comes out at once.

It was a gift and the recipient is very satisfied and has no complaints about the build quality or performance. The only complaint I have is the very long delivery - it took more than a month to deliver. However, it was worth the wait as I couldn't find nibs of this quality anywhere else. While the long delivery time is disappointing I won't downgrade the star rating as the handles matter in the end.

I was hoping for a set that matches the picture, you know, a set of fountain pens. Instead, it's a set of feathers, so it's back. William Mitchell used to be my favorite brand. Until I received this set. There are very good and bad moments in this set. The good first: Most nibs are very good. Specifically, italic nibs and scroll nibs. They work well and hold plenty of ink before you have to dip the pen again. The witch pen is decent but not very high quality. I bought this case as a beginner to start with calligraphy. Delivery took a while but it was worth the wait. The set includes several pens and a holder. Double-tipped nibs are utterly useless to me, and I haven't found a good use for them. However, the other nibs are very good and hold the ink well with the ink well.
