Great ball for the price

If you can't physically scratch a bear these are very good low compression balls. Good feeling when hitting with a wedge.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Good golf ball for seniors in golf balls

Good feel from tee to green. For the money these and/or the Elite 50s are a great fool's game. At 63 I need compression to get all I can get. Feel at a distance.

Great golf ball in the distance Balls

I play a lot of golf and play with an average handicap. I've tried expensive balls and I'm no better. This ball is well priced and offers great feel and durability. Doesn't scratch. A good friend of mine teaches and points out that the average amateur player doesn't need to play an expensive ball. These balls are exactly what I needed and have been using them for my predecessor for many years.

Great balls at a reasonable price

These are my favorite balls when playing in a new field with lots of obstacles. They play nice and quiet. Feel is pretty good, but they spin pretty well for a non-urethane ball. They play very close to Callaway Supersoft and Srixion Soft Feel. These Wilsons are slightly more durable and abrasion resistant than the other two brands. Supersoft plays a little softer, but scratches faster. The distance from the tee is about the same for all three balls. Callaways might be a little more yards, but…

The ball is soft - distance is short

For reference: Index 9.1 The current match ball is Taylormade TP5. Driver Turn Rate 90 mph. I tried these Wilson golf balls in our frigid winter temperatures (30 F) to see how they compared to my standard cue ball. After several rounds of shuffling 2 balls I have come to the following conclusion: The ball is soft and feels soft The ball is not expensive The ball has good stopping power although the greens are still soft in winter The ball With my irons it was consistently half a bat shorter…
