Misleading and inaccurate thermometer

This thermometer panel is a complete waste of time and money. When I tried this product, it gave me false readings which resulted in ruined dishes. I trusted it on several occasions but it let me down each time. Home and kitchen users, steer clear of this useless gadget.

Useful oven extension for our situation

"Winco thermometer with 3 inch oven dial with hook and plate base" We moved to a new apartment and we like to eat the roasted vegetables, disappeared. . In its place was a kind of squishy mush. I bought this device to see what's out there. Turns out the stove in this apartment sucks. Set the temperature to 400. After 10 minutes, the preheating tone sounds. Vinko tells me that the temperature is 225 πŸ€”. Winco tells me it takes 25 minutes to reach the maximum. Tempo 385. So I have two problems…

for elderly like me with low vision

This rating is based on looks only. I did not take the thermometer out of the packaging as I will be sending it back. I expect it will work satisfactorily, but my main requirement for an oven thermometer is a large and easy to read face. It is described as having a 3-inch dial, but in fact the visible portion, excluding the sides of the case, is 2.5-inches. And for older people like me with low vision, too much unnecessary detail clutters the face. The bold numbers help, but if they were closer

Pros
  • Slightly mind
