Amazing value Passed all my tests. Can work with video editing software and games

Very stylish and durable, this laptop can handle all the tasks I do on it. The 8 gigabytes of RAM and an SSD hard drive easily coped with my video editing software, as well as game emulation and some newer games from the App Store. If you're looking for a laptop for less than $300, this thing really is worth every penny, at least to me. Photoshop looks and works great on this computer. It works great for web surfing and streaming, the laptop also has quiet fans and doesn't seem to get very hot…

Perfect (don't forget to remove ALL the plastic foil covers)

Only problem. Which with the company logo in the center of the laptop NEVER disappears even if you open webpages or read emails, watch YouTube etc. (OKAY MY BIG OOPS! REMOVE THE PLASTIC FILM WITH THE LOGO! You need to register with a credit card to MS to use, but it's not necessary if you're storing all kinds of files, pdf, photos, etc., and you can set up access for use on any other device like a phone.)

This is not the budget laptop you are looking for

I really wish this was an inexpensive extra laptop to keep at home. If you're looking for a budget laptop in the sub-$500 category, as a second laptop, something for the kids, or just because of your budget, you should look elsewhere. I can only speak for one device that I received and returned within a day, but the main issues you might encounter are a screen with a brighter backlight than any screen you've ever seen, a touchscreen that clicks inconsistently registered, and a plastic case…

Better than a Chromebook

The price of this model is comparable to Chromebook models, only with the powerful Windows 10. Much better! We think Chrome OS is boring and lacks anything but an experience that could be seen as a small step up from a basic tablet. Useless junk - DO NOT BUY

Absolutely worthless junk. Definitely don't buy it. After taking this POS out of the box, I pressed ESC on startup to get into the BIOS - so far, so good. Disable Secure Boot, disable Fast Boot - fine. Install boot from my Lubuntu 16.04 LTS UEFI flash drive to install real OS - no boot. Revert to setup mode, try again - no download. Ready. This is garbage shit. It's impossible to install a real operating system, so it can't be used for anything other than a doorstop. Would give zero stars if it
