We bought this to cover our hot tub and protect it while we are away for the summer. When we came back it melted onto the top of the hot tub in places. To be fair, it was in Arizona, but the cheap blue tarps got the job done with no problem.

Just last year, and then small particles fell off, dusting my boat inside and out. See attached photo of the mess he made. I had to vacuum and wash the boat, throw away that tarp and buy another tarp. The cheap blue tarp you usually see at retail does not. I will NEVER buy this tarpaulin again.

I only needed them to cover the garden swing and porch glider with guy ropes in inclement weather and they are the perfect size for that. They feel heavy and the bushings feel solid - if they survive a winter unscathed I'll be happy - $5 each. The only thing is how bad they smell - don't open the packages inside, wait until you go outside!

UPDATE: Had to change to year mark. I used it to cover a boat and for about 9 months now every time I took it off thousands of small pieces of plastic came loose and landed on the bottom of the boat. It also started dripping quite a bit. Still 3 stars because I'm not sure if for the price you can expect more than a year lifespan. Use as a cover for a boat. It's been 3 months now and it's still holding up and looking like new.

Unfortunately we had to return the tarpaulin as I didn't read carefully enough and wasn't clear. Although I take full blame for this, these tarps turned up in transparent search so just make sure you read the description carefully. We didn't use them, but as far as I could tell they were a really well built and durable tarp. If I had a reason to keep her, I definitely would. The price was the most important factor in my initial decision-making process.

This tarp has held up pretty well for about 6 months. I don't know how long the tarp will last. It was used to protect a horsebox outside in the rain and Georgia heat. A few weeks ago it literally started falling apart. Every time I touch it with my finger while putting it on, a hole is made in the tarpaulin. If I just move it now, the parts of the tarpaulin just fall off, yesterday it got stuck and completely torn. It was great for about 4 months, showed signs of failure after about 5 months…

Great tarp, item is HUGE and good quality. Ordered before a hike where it ALWAYS rains a lot when I found all the old tarps were useless. I researched and loved the great reviews of this product/company and that people were very happy with their plans. I mean how happy do you have to be with the tarp to write a review? ;) This is a much higher quality product than you will find in a hardware store (well reinforced corners/eyelets).
