Bought for my 6 year old. she is big and strong. Fits well, good quality, looks good. it grows very fast, but no regrets. Happy with the package. she plays 4 times a week and the gear is holding up. Goodbye

Great set. The only problem is why they pack such excellent gear and then make the bag so small. If they would spend 25 cents on extra fabric to make the bag bigger this set would be perfect.

Protection set in the box, hard to miss. For toddlers learning to skate, I'm all for it. .Value is that it just isn't the quality of a big brand. I originally bought 2 sets and the stitching for one of the shin guards came undone the first time I put them on. To be honest I'll probably give them another chance until the games start because that's how he should do it. Protect and provide a boxed solution at a fair price.

I am getting this set for my second child and my older child already plays hockey so I can compare this set to other brands. Imo it's pretty cheaply made 1. The fabric is very thin and thin enough to make a 'whisper' sound like a cheap plastic bag. 2. The padding and plastic shell does not match the typical molded padding of real hockey gear and the lack of finger segments on the gloves, which I consider a Benchmark 3. my son has an average set, we paid $135 at department store for this set, he is in pants 7 (6 is too small, 7 is just right, tends to size 8 in pants but a little too tall), and he slim. Second year with medium original kit, his 7th program just started, two weeks in all gear still looking good, velcro on shin pads I may add glue soon but no major issues at the moment, still good.
