Easy to use for paint

Works with both bottled and tube acrylic paints. I've thrown away so many bottles of paint over the years that hopefully they don't dry out too quickly. Easy to use. Comes out drop by drop and prevents overuse.

Pros
  • Same as everything before
Cons
  • Appearance

Definitely better than water but maybe not worth it.

In general, the medium will keep the pigments in suspension more evenly than just water, but if you're just painting for a hobby it probably isn't worth it. Just use water and stir some more. Might be worth a try if you're drawing large models.

Pros
  • Looks good
Cons
  • Weight

I highly recommend spending a few bucks more and switching.

I bought this product after some advice from the painting team. Without these, painting with acrylic paints would be almost impossible. The first bottle I bought was small with a lid. I highly recommend spending a few bucks more and getting a larger bottle with a spout. Easy to measure and close with one hand. For me this will be a permanent purchase.

Pros
  • Effective for hard edge painting techniques
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Great stuff but make sure to follow the guide

GREAT material. Follow the directions on the bottle to the letter as I've used it diluted and gotten some pretty weird results. The paint hasn't worn off but after reading the instructions I saw exactly how good the thing is. It may seem strange, but I recommend using at least distilled water or better. Tap water seems to make it a bit strange. Suppose the silly amount of additives in city water interacts with the formula.

Pros
  • . Retains no color change from wet to dry when used with Winsor & Newton professional grade acrylic
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Perfect Acrylic Spreading Medium

This bottle is a lot cheaper than Revain's Liquitex Flow Aid. You get twice as much for almost the same price. My daughter and I make many adult paint by number kits and we use this help to smooth paint and make it easier to apply to canvas. Ideal! And this bottle is big enough to share. In fact I bought 2 packs of small craft bottles from the dollar store and refilled them from this large bottle for easier sharing and there is still plenty left in the original bottle to use as a refill. Very…

Pros
  • Keeps color stable and slightly delays drying
Cons
  • Other interesting options are available.
