COUPLING DEFECTIVE!: Rough plumbing

COUPLING INNER COUPLING INSTANTLY SEPARATED into 2 pieces when I screwed it on with very little force. Very thin cheap metal with pressing. Luckily I had another one, otherwise I would have drowned trying to winterize the pipes in my cottage. The quick disconnect valve itself seems fine, but I bought it on purpose because it came with a coupler.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Great to have a ball valve

I looked at hardware stores for vent adapters. There was no ball valve in stock. I took this one instead. Good build quality. I also like that the hose adapter is removable. I have different hose sizes on different air compressors. This allows me to change the connector. The included adapter for FGHT connections is an added bonus.

Best winter tool I've found

This product is very well made and makes it easy to winterize your trailer. Simply hook up an air compressor to the municipal water intake, set the air compressor to 30psi, open the outlet and run. Before turning on the compressor, be sure to drain the water heater, and then replace the element. When only air comes out of the pipe, close that hole and repeat the process on the other faucet. This adapter makes it very easy.

Worked great and I liked the ball valve

I almost bought a Camco but thought the ball valve and clutch might be good. In short, they are. I have a fairly large compressor that is not particularly convenient to move. Now I can control the airflow when blowing out my trailer and winter hoses right on the trailer or hose with the compressor on. The coupling is ideal for connecting hoses. I think this is a great set.

Ideal for wintering and de-wintering!

I bought this to prep and disinfect my caravan. It connects directly to the "City Water" inlet. Your air compressor connects to a quick connect connector and you open the valve to start airflow.! IMPORTANT! Make sure you set your air compressor regulator to a maximum of 30psi or you risk damaging your RV's freshwater system. . In my case (2021 Cherokee Wolf Pup 16PF), the first stop is an outdoor shower. Next comes the indoor shower, the toilet flush valve, and then the kitchen sink. Repeat the
