Works exactly as described.

I made 4 headlights with it (2 cars). My headlights weren't bad, but they are over 10 years old and need to be fixed or replaced (the photos don't show how bad they really were). Grinding a headlight takes 5-10 minutes but is not that difficult. And the "product" is easy to apply and makes the headlight CRYSTAL CLEAR. Make sure you sand off any oxidation. I left a thin line on one and you can see it if you look closely. But after spending $11 and 45 minutes (start to finish) I didn't pay $500…

just wow. for headlight assemblies, parts and accessories

Wow, this wipe is amazing. Look at the photos. I have a 2nd long range Kamari 2001. The headlights have survived their time. So here it is, you're going to need a lot of arm strength if you're going to rub and rub and rub a sand cube on just one side for at least 30 minutes. Then again, this is just the finishing touch. Lots of water and rubbing. Don't worry, after rubbing and wiping with a cloth, you'll see the headlight fog up even more. Look at the 2nd photo. I worried because I thought it…

As promised, my headlights look like new!

I want to take before and after photos. This stuff worked great! My car is 6 years old but with the fogged up headlights it looked more like a 20's. As one reviewer said, for some reason it's only the headlights and not the taillights—dust and dirt are sandblasted to a fogged-up state. The kit I received contained double sided sandpaper, red cloth (microfiber?), blue gloves and a sealed packet of cleaning cloth with a strong chemical smell. The instructions are simple and clear: wet the…

I was skeptical but it works!

I have a 2001 BMW and the headlights were terrible. Very cloudy and needs a little maintenance. I've been considering buying new headlights but am the type of guy who if they ain't broke why change them? Also, the cost of the new headlights was a bit more than what I was planning to spend at the moment, so I started looking into a headlight restoration. I found this product on Revain, read the reviews, looked at the pictures and decided to try it myself. It's cheap so I wasn't quite sure what…

Pretty good product

It's been a while since I received this product and have been able to try it on my headlights to date. This is Canyon 06 and they were pretty foggy. I'd really like to take pictures, but oh well. One of my ceiling lights (DRLs) had a nail scratch on the cover (mine) but as I mentioned the headlights were also in pretty bad shape. The included sanding block works. good in not very foggy light, but after the first try (after initially cleaning the headlights with window cleaner) I used 1000 grit…

Don't be lazy and sit back!

I'm one of those nerds who makes car parts as a hobby and I've used probably every headlight restoration kit on the market as well as some homemade mixes. Like other reviewers, as previously mentioned, there is nothing magical about this or any other product on the market. Your success depends solely on your persistence and ability to grind away the microscopic layer of the headlight housing. If you don't grind each headlight continuously for at least 30-45 minutes, you will be absolutely…

Rain, hail and tornado, oh my god!

Yes, all that and more. Let me start by saying I'm a terrible procrastinator. I've wanted to make headlights and turn everything off for a long time. When I finally did, they were in a terrible mess. I would like to take before and after photos. The haze, oxidation, and abrasions from the sun, dirt, and debris were so bad I could only drive at night with bright headlights, and they weren't even as bright as they should be dimmed. So I finally got what I thought would be the perfect day to work…

Elbow grease not included

Like many others I bought this to "restor" the headlights on my car. The kit says it's good for "oxidation, fading, and sun damage." cloudy or dull, it is not due to oxidation, fading or sun damage. Check out your taillights. They're not milky or matte, are they? No! And they stand up to the same weather and sun as headlights. Why are the headlights milky and dark? The answer is that when you're driving, every bit of dust and dirt in the air essentially clogs your headlights with sand. Each…
