Great router - just buy it! You can't go wrong with this.

I consider this my best investment yet. Until recently I was using the Cisco WRT310N router bought in 2011 - then of course modern. My "master" COX account entitles me to 50 Mbps in and 5 out, and I've consistently gotten around 20 Mbps over wired ethernet and 5-10 Mbps on wireless devices. I thought it was normal speed. During one of my recent calls to a Cox customer service rep who was complaining about internet lag, she advised me to buy a new router as the slowdown was definitely on my…

Solution of problems. in Routers

After struggling with my wife's laptop for the past four years(!) because it kept turning the wifi on and off, this router finally solved the problem. And according to my local technician, this series and brand of routers has solved many problems for many of his customers. ** The 5GHz band doesn't work well in my house, but it doesn't matter if it's two laptops, two cell phones, two iPads, FireTV, Chromecast, Wii, and a BluRay player at the same time. **

  • Quick Change

Great router, definitely worth the money

I bought this router to replace my always reliable NetGear router. As a techie, I'm tech-savvy, including routers. I've done enough research and this router hasn't let me down. This is a great little router that brings AC power to your home or office. It requires minimal setup, has long range, and offers both dual-band and guest functionality.

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • No form needed

Excellent router with good web control panel GUI

Excellent router with good web control panel GUI. Although it was first made in 2013, it is better and better priced ($140) than many/recent ones.

Pros
  • Excellent design
Cons
  • Not the best

It works, but you can do a lot more for the money

I bought an ASUS RT-N66U router a few years ago when 802.11n was all the rage and I was fine with it at the time . Compared to the cheap Netlink routers I've used before, it was stable, fast, and feature-rich. However, I had recently connected gigabit fiber to my house and it turned out that the router couldn't go faster than about 150Mbps on its uplink, so I figured it was time for an upgrade. I bought this router on faith because I was happy with my old ASUS. and I was terribly disappointed…

  • Feels good
