I've tested several different pairs of wireless headphones to make sure this isn't an issue, but they all have the same mute issue. It worked great for the first few days, but now it's almost unusable because the sound keeps dropping. I've always found it odd that the PS3 supports Bluetooth headsets while the PS4 and PS5 don't. I was looking for a solution to pair my Raycon E25 to my PS4 and after a bit of work I managed to get it working. The device is easy to connect to the PS4's USB port after following the included instructions. it did not work. Frustrated, I tried a few more times, but still nothing. For some reason I decided to try this on my computer and it worked right away. After that I put the key in the first USB port of my system and it worked again. Just remember to set "Output Device" to "USB Headphone".

I loved using it to connect my AirPods to my PS4. It succeeded in pairing, but if you remove the USB transmitter, you have to pair it again. No problem, easy to do. Works for PS4. The problem is that the microphone is still connected to your controller and not to the bluetooth headset. Therefore, it may be difficult for others to hear you when the controller is far from your mouth. It also means they hear all your key presses very clearly, which can be annoying. PS4 saw the key in the output device settings, but the key was not fully synchronized, that is, the indicator was still blinking. The input device on the PS4 saw the button for a split second, then said "that's not a microphone you could use" and automatically switched to "no". Essentially, the volume and button never got stuck in pairing mode, which should automatically connect to the AirPods.

TLDR: Headphone sound is great, chat mic is very weak. This review is specifically for use to connect AirPods to PS4. Product claims to work on PS4. I followed the instructions and put it in the PS4 and the small key in the remote and I heard it for a brief second and then nothing. I played around with it for the next hour or so, even watching videos and walkthroughs. I'm pretty sure the key just died and isn't working. Unfortunately.
