Wisepick Injector R 134A Quick Coupler Review

I used it yesterday. This made it easier to add oil to a closed system. Just don't fill past the 2 ounce mark or you won't be able to close it.

If you need an oil and dye injector I recommend the wise choice due to the lasered fill marks. Others I've seen have a fill mark sticker that wears off over time.

Excellent pump. You only need to add 2 ounces of PAG oil to the system. Spend time and money buying these 3 ounces, 2 ounces of oil and 1 ounce of freon. Not enough pressure to add to the system I just filled with 36 ounces of Freon. After replacing the compressor, condenser, and battery, I skipped counting the amount of oil needed for the system after disconnecting the AC sensors. This pump saved the day.

Bottom line, it works. The collar was not attached so I swapped it out for a collar with a pressure gauge. Apart from this error, the item worked fine. My personal recommendation is to fill up to 1.5 or 1.75 ounces as much as possible. 2 ounces kept the piston from pushing and the threads from engaging. This thing saved me the heartache of having already drained and recharged my system only to find I hadn't added enough oil.

Product requires instructions. Nobody comes with him. The seller claims "excellent customer service". Zero contact information is delivered with the product or advertisement. This injector is easy to use and does a good job. My only complaint is that it's too big for some of the tight vertical spaces; my truck (2007 Dodge Ram 4.7 V8) is one of those vehicles. Just a few inches between the hood and the lower side vent, it won't fit. Although it worked perfectly on my machine. I will most likely take a set of 90º couplers and switch to this coupler to get a truck.

Works exceptionally well and makes it easy to add oil to the air conditioner. The only downside is that it takes a bit of guesswork to fill it out.
