I used this filter on my 92 F-superduty to get rid of the pesky leaking fuel tank at the bottom of the OEM filter. Does what it should.

fits 89 Ford 7.3 idi. You lost the water sensor, but the thing isn't leaking. When changing the oil, simply drain the oil if water bothers you.

I wish these filters were a little closer in price to the original filter I used but it works and I don't have to use the floor (original water drainage system) that came with the truck.

I bought this filter because I was looking for an air leak in my fuel system and thought it might be an OEM fuel tank over 25 years old act. The leak turned out to be around the fuel heater, but I left that filter on the truck for now. Please note the filter has a drain but will not fit the Ford truck water-in-fuel sensor.
