WIX Filters 42725 Filter Panel Review

This is an air filter. Works great. Good price. It is very easy to replace a 2014 RAM 1500. When you go to the dealer for air filters, hand in your personal card.

Wix filters are great. They are cheaper than original Mopar filters. This filter is much thicker than OEM. The filter fits my 2016 Ram Big Horn V6 truck perfectly. The installation only took a few minutes.

Very well made with quality materials. I have to say that I found it much better compared to the standard filter. Fits perfectly, just like OEM. If I replace it when needed I will use the same to replace it.

Fits perfectly on my 2013 Ram 1500 with Pentastar 3.6. There is a slight difference between the Mopar part and this one. This Wix filter is slightly taller and has slightly less gasket material than the Mopar filter, very noticeable differences. But the Wix filter is a quality filter and it worked in my app with no issues.

Some of you may buy a filter that looks very similar to the OEM. I did not do it. Filter media is 0.5 inch smaller than OEM. Box says "See. Product for Country of Origin = Made in China (Quality Statement). OEM is made in the USA. I decided to throw away and return my OEM, which wasn't all that dusty at all.
