I've been racing off-road for 35 years and if you don't have a high performance racing filter (one you can disassemble and inspect) then Wix is the next best thing. A friend of mine did an unscientific test by buying several filters and cutting them up. The internal differences were striking as WIX clearly outperformed them. Excellent filtration and installation. Always works on my 5.9 Magnum and when I cut it the filtering clearly works. The silicone check valve does not splinter like rubber. The bypass spring works as it should instead of being too weak to close. The outer case can take a lot of abuse when you're working off-road and using a wrench when it's time to replace it. Wix is everything I buy. It costs a few extra dollars to protect my motors.
