Honestly I only bought this for reputation and it's an oil filter how do you REALLY know how well it works? All I can say is that the installation was perfect, the gasket and filter seemed well done and if the reputation is true I have a great oil filter at a great price.

The WIX WL10000 oil filter is a typical replacement oil filter. This is the filter that WIX says fits my 2006 Honda Goldwing. I haven't installed it yet, but my order just arrived and it's a truly spin-on filter. For WIX, the product number was previously SL10000, but WIX changed it to WL10000. The box has been relabeled although the item inside is still stamped SL10000.

I have been using WIX for years on mower, tractor, motorbike etc. In preparation for my yearly oil change on all toys I ordered some filters that I needed. This WIX was one of them. I won't do this again until they are sealed with plastic. Received my new one in a box mailed in a Manila envelope so the box was crumpled and barely held together - not WIX's fault. When I took the filter out, I shook it and banged it on a clean black surface on my workbench and the dust particles and shipping dust
