This filter is much better quality than the OEM part that I removed. Easy to install after dropping the protection plate and another plastic fender covering the filter cover. The filter cover is plastic and can be easily removed with SAE sockets or wrenches.

The actual filtering area of this filter seems small as this WIX filter has small ribs on each end of the filter. The design looks good, the install just makes me nervous because it's different from the standard 2020 Hyundai Palisade filters. Drain plug o-ring and gasket included.

Never used an oil filter like this. All the others were metal cylinders with a pillar inside, but this one worked perfectly. Installed on my 21 year old Kia Telluride. My car's filter is held in place by a canister with a 25mm hex nut. Just take the old one out and drain the oil, wipe it off, put some new oil on the o-ring that goes around the filter and replace the crush washer. A good product!
