These mounting pads will warp when used in places such as a car dashboard in summer.

On the plus side, they're ideal for use in areas that don't get very hot. I bought this on March 15, 2021 to install my Garmin on my Forrester dashboard. I was very happy until the outside temperature rose to 95 degrees in the summer. The interior temperatures are likely to have risen significantly higher.
