Disappointed with coffee, tea and espresso

Very disappointed with the Wolf coffee maker. Bought as a replacement for Viking. Viking was great, made good coffee and stayed hot for hours. The wolf brews a strong cup of coffee and does not heat up in the decanter thermos for 2 hours. I wish I could return it. You could buy the same coffee at the cheap Mr. Coffee. Certainly not worth 500€!

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • I can't fault that, everything is fine

Best coffee maker I've ever had

I was impressed with how easy this machine was to use. Everything was very easy to assemble and it looks very elegant. It also disassembles well enough for quick cleaning. The temperature of the coffee seemed perfect to me, neither too hot nor too cold. I've also used it to make hot chocolate (just without the filter) and it worked really well. Overall a great machine that I recommend. A bit pricey but if you are looking for a reliable coffee maker then this one is well worth it!

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Can hurt

It's a great coffee maker

Because I roast coffee beans at home, I pay a lot of attention to my coffee preparation. I have always used a Technivorm, a great coffee maker, and switched to a Wolf machine when my last Technivorm died. The wolf makes excellent coffee. The two complaints I read on the internet (the water chamber could be leaking and the coffee was slowly running out of the carafe) did not apply to my model. There were no leaks and the coffee pours out of the carafe at a decent speed. Yes, it's expensive, but…

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Not everything fits

Nice commercial appearance

The machine has a rich commercial appearance. I love the signature red handles and high quality stainless steel. The machine makes great coffee. I would have liked a higher brewing temperature. The carafe keeps the temperature of the coffee for about 45 minutes. Here's the bad news. The decanter is a disappointment. The coffee doesn't stay warm for long. The lid does not pour easily and makes a mess when pouring coffee. I understand where the decanter lid needs to be for proper pouring, but if…

Pros
  • Expensive but decent
Cons
  • No machine

Quality coffee maker

I spent about $100 on a Ninja coffee maker 18 months ago, it was a good coffee maker but every morning I had to pull it out from under the cabinet to make a pot. cleaning light, and eventually it stopped working. I threw it away and started searching the internet and came across a $499 stainless steel Wolf coffee maker. My wife loves her coffee and so do I and we drink it every morning so I decided to spend the extra money on something we use every day. It's very easy to use, you don't have to…

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Sad packaging

NEVER AGAIN. I was betrayed by a fancy name.

The fact that the name WOLF is well known and the general expectation of the high quality of WOLF products made me decide to buy this carafe-shaped coffee maker, despite the high price. So imagine my surprise when this dainty looking, sophisticated coffee maker turned out to be dead wrong. The decanter design is the dumbest thing I've ever come across. You can't pour a cup of coffee without the coffee sloshing all over the counter. The stylish double-walled carafe keeps the original "semi-warm"

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Something is wrong
