Works as advertised. This gave me additional customization options.

Works as advertised. This gave me the extra setup I needed when I switched from a 33/11 cassette to a spare 42/11 cassette. In addition, the Allen key interface is much easier to use and much more secure than the Phillips included in the kit.

Pros
  • Rear Derailleurs
Cons
  • No Instructions

Worth replacing your original B screw.

The original Phillips B screw is worn out. This item has allowed me to get my derailleur to work with a cog that is three teeth above spec. The old one was fully seated and didn't come out easily. I cleaned the eyelet, smeared it with oil and on a new thread. it went in easily and the hex head works much better.

Pros
  • Cycling
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

not for MBT Best in derailleurs and switches

As the name suggests, badly bent after 5 rides. This can work with a road bike or a light adjustment where screw B should not be almost fully inserted. I had to cut the screw to get it out of the detailer. I ended up going to local ACE hardware and got the same screw for 1/3 the price. Then I made a mod to make it stronger.

Pros
  • parts and components
Cons
  • dented

I need to build a big gear with 11-46 cassettes

This product works like a champ, it gave me the ability to adjust the Shimano Deore rear derailleur so it doesn't touch the extra large range cassette gear. I selected my 11:00 Sunrace 10 speed 46 tooth cassette to do this by conversion. And without the bolt, the derailleur would hit the top gear. It's something not all props like, but it's an everyday must-have thanks to the large rear cassette conversions.

Pros
  • Front Derailleur
Cons
  • Only available in Black
