Extremely dangerous

They are extremely dangerous and can damage more than just the drill itself. The shaft is made of very soft metal. After less than 15 minutes of use cutting 1/8" plywood, the ½" router bit shank (see attached photos) bent, causing serious damage to the router and the workpiece.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Large and bulky

Not the best, but not the worst either

These are regular bits. When delivered, they are not very sharp. used started having problems from the 4th cut but they made it in a way that would probably do for a project but it did the job without me paying anyone to do it.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Socket required

Not worth the money!

Should have read the reviews! As you can see from the photos you get what you paid for. Inferior quality! A little bent when first used on a maple cabinet door; the other bearing fell apart on first use! At router speeds, these bits are DANGEROUS! Spend more and get Freud's sure quality punch. Read reviews and learn from our mistakes.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Little things

Doesn't last long

The subwoofer enclosure was assembled using a 1/4 bit to align the edges. Haven't used it extensively, maybe about 15ft edge wash if I had to guess and the bait broke. Finished with a large bit but I didn't expect the bit to break so quickly. Went back and ordered a different brand which was basically the same clone with a different name. They work, but are unreliable for long-term use. They're cheap so I can't complain.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

disposable tool. in Power Tool Parts & Accessories

The bits are single use but in one project I burned 3 of them and now they are garbage. Two of them lost their bearings (twice, and eventually the bearing fell apart) while I took advantage of them and scratched the workpiece, and the other had a bearing that just froze and blackened the edge of the tree. Although I've only used them once, I bought them months before I started my project so my return window is long gone. If the company comes forward and offers new beats or a refund, it will…

Pros
  • Can be used to cut solid wood, MDF, chipboard, plywood, etc.
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Cuts soft aluminum in trim

One of the cheapest items I've found on Amazon. I bought it with the intention of cutting aluminum with a hand router. I thought they were one off beats. However, after cutting about 20 feet of 1/2 inch diameter aluminum, the drill remained sharp. Of course with a constant flow of lube and a slower milling speed, but so far my expectations have been exceeded. I've read in some reviews that the bearing was what came first, I think it probably will as it's probably not the highest quality bearing

Pros
  • Note: The shank must be 3/4 in. and tight for clamping force to be applied.
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

New Design Garage Door

I used these cutters to clean the sides of a set of doors I was building, I have a new RV garage that will also fit my motorcycle and I wanted to make a set of insulated doors, which would open one for access and both for my Harley to access his garage. I glued pressure treated plywood together to make LP 50yr siding with PVC siding panels. I used these cutters to cut all the sides as I laid the plywood frame on and glued it together. The first frame was about the size of a stencil so when…

Pros
  • Industrial Grade Carbide Cutters Good quality for long life.
