Wolverine Men's Pack Cotton Large: Premium Quality and Comfort for Stylish Gentlemen Review

These are "just OK" socks. They're the right weight and thickness, they're reasonably comfortable - they're soft and hold their shape, and they feel durable. The problem is that they compress and the smaller size means they press and rub against my toes and are snug around my ankles. At $3.50 the pair is worth it. But now they're $28 for a 4-pack and I'm not buying at that price.

A few years ago I bought 9 pairs of Wolverine socks and I was delighted. The pants were lined and lasted about nine years. I'm still wearing my last pair. I ordered some new ones after reading other people's reviews and was sad to realize they were right in saying they were terrible. Pants were thin, socks lasted about a month. They're all gone and I'm still wearing a pair from a long time ago. I will never buy anything from Wolverine again.

I'm giving this 5 stars because I haven't had a problem in about a year. The biggest problem is that when washed in hot water they slowly shrink until they no longer fit my foot. But combine that with my obsession with bleach and they last around 12-14 months if worn 1-2 times a week. Keep in mind that most computer controlled washing machines made in the last 10-15 years don't have a true hot water option. Very poorly sewn, 3 socks out of 8 have holes after wearing them ONCE. and the seam isn't even from the bottom but over the fingers on the TOP of the socks. The material is oddly rough and uncomfortable and began to roll (little lumps formed) within minutes of wearing it. I might not have noticed the roughness and coils if it weren't for the holes.
