Wave Easy Women's Water Shoes Review

I would not recommend this shoe. My daughter had blisters on her legs after one use. Maybe for light use no more than an hour they are fine. Nothing more.

The water shoes were fine until I stood in the water for a few minutes. The sole has come off. I don't think I can replace the sole; Sand got stuck where the sole goes. They're made to be carried in the water, right?

I once wore these shoes for a 10 minute walk on the beach. The insole moved horribly and when I took off my shoes all my feet were taped! Terrible, terrible product. I have an old pair of beach shoes that I have had for a number of years and that I wear on and off besides walking, including in the sea. Never had a problem with them. They are junk and unfortunately the return window didn't close until a few days before I put them on so they went in the trash.

The toes at the end are clearly visible in the picture. That's why I picked her, that's why I took a star off. These are typical water shoes and they run small. I'm a size 9 and my toe gets stuck on top of the fabric and ends up being pierced. Hence I deducted a star. They don't have arch support, but I wasn't expecting that. Just think how your socks will flex and stretch when they get wet and you'll know what they're doing when they hit the water. If I hadn't believed the many reviews saying they are true to size and ordered a whole size smaller I might have been ok. But 20 minutes in the pool (water aerobics) the inside of the sole slipped and the rear buckle dug into my Achilles tendon. I have purchased this brand in the past and the size seems large. I usually wear clothes that are 9 to 9 1/2 wide. Last time I bought them the size 9 was very long, it fit like a 10-10 1/2! 5 stars for very low price and fast shipping. I bought these shoes for swimming on rocky beaches and rivers. They protect my feet well enough in these situations and are definitely worth the $10 I paid for them. The mesh upper allows water to drain easily and is great for swimming. I'm really surprised by all the bad reviews on here. I bought these for myself and my eldest daughter almost a year ago (June 9th 2017) originally for use in our local quarry - lots of slippery/slimy rocks - and we both wore them all summer long, both indoors as well as outside. Water; in the quarry, walking back and forth, as well as walking to the local pool and along our pier, and also being in the lake.
