My 3 year old wanted simple building blocks. We had fun coloring them in with markers. After they dried we had no issues with "bleeding" or ink smearing, although I plan to eventually seal them just to be on the safe side. Very durable, more than expected, worth buying!

16 blocks look nice but 11 of them need some sanding and possibly milling. I ordered this set to save time sanding, but I'm not sure if it would be better than cutting and sanding them myself. I expected some of them to require attention, but nearly half were shocking. They can be saved, but it takes longer.

As a person who understands that wood is natural and may not always be perfect, they gave me complete satisfaction! I might have had a pad that was quite rough on one side, which is understandable since it's a tree. We use them for a children's party - we decorate the block with letters with the corresponding pictures with letters! So 27 was the perfect number, 26 letters and a study block.
