My analysis of this product showed that the screws are prone to rust and become easily stripped during installation. The only positive aspect of these screws is the quantity per pack. However, it's not worth the frustration and disappointment that comes with using this low-quality product.

High quality. I didn't even know they make an 8 inch screw. Used them for 6x6 and 4x6 beams. Replaced the corner clips and a few screws on each side.

Bought these for some 4x4 butt joints on an outdoor TV stand. They rode great and they didn't have splits! The reason I removed the star is because one of the screws was quite kinked and the drill that came with it wasn't a hammer drill. Do you know how many people turn an 8" structural screw without an impact wrench? Otherwise solid price/quality!
