Not for what most people would want it for

It doesn't serve the purpose most people would want to buy it for. This is a hose to hose connection and will not fit directly into the saw connection or your shop vacuum. The dimensions are accurate, but not including a photo showing the exact purpose is not very helpful.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • poorly thought out

FITS 4 " HOSES, NOT ELBOWS!

THIS FITS 4" HOSES, NOT 4" HOLES FOR TOOLS. time consuming. Be prepared for anyway little extra work and delay. The seller is unhelpful and unable to suggest the right type of pipe. When I asked about this I received a shrug email.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

That's the gearing.: Vacuum Cleaner and Dust Collector Parts

Dust accumulation is a problem. There is no standard, so fittings are hard to find and even harder to install. I figured I needed a 2-1/2" connection to my band saw that would fit all of my tools in the carpentry shop. (This is a small workshop so I use a vacuum port that I can take from machine to when needed Machine move.) This coupling works fine (what's wrong, right?), but the rest of the connections are more complicated than it needs to be.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Retrofittable

Woodcraft W1044 gearbox Not what I expected

I recently purchased an R4512 rigid table saw. The table saw has a built-in 4 inch dust collection port. When I bought some inserts from Leecraft, the site also listed this adapter as a top seller. When I went to install it, I found that the reducer was the same size as the 4" connector on the saw. Now I need to find a 4 inch coupler to use or remove the tape. I just want others who order this item to know this.

How to attach a 4 " x 2 1/2 " adapter to my band saw's 4 " dust bag.

Adapter arrived in good condition. has a 4" dust/shaver connector that is the same Sized as the 4" end of this fitting is so I had to find a way to attach it. it fits in. I then cut 1 1/2" slots every 3/4" around the other end of the 6" pipe, taped 1" duct tape to the bandsaw dust bag and slipped the 6" pipe over the boot. Port, attached a stainless steel clamp to the cut end of the PVC pipe and clamped it in place.

Dust collection work

A bad description leaves us puzzled about how to tie it. You must provide the actual dimensions of the reducer. As users, we need to understand that this is a 4" plug with a 2 1/2" socket or 4" OD with a 21/2" ID. Whatever the case, the consumer should find out by ordering other parts to try and make connections. I have a 4 inch fitting coming out of the saw. This 4" fitting is exactly the same so I assumed I had chosen a 4" rubber clamp connector and it turned out to be a 4" ID. Browsing a…

Helped connect my 14 " Delta Bandsaw to my vacuum.

Worked very well to hook up my 14" Delta Bandsaw to a vacuum. I had a typical problem where my band saw's connector was 5 inches and I couldn't figure out how to connect it. Went with one of these (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00B6JE7DA?psc=1&redirect =true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00) and had to knock out the edge rivet to fit the 5" socket as they are the same size and then seal it with foil tape. Worked like clockwork and used a 10 foot 4" Powertec dust hose…
