This was returned because our dog didn't like sticking his head through the not too generous hole. The coat also didn't offer as much protection as the old raincoat. The fabric is light and can protect well, but it certainly won't keep you warm.

This mainly protects the dog from rain. Unfortunately the hood doesn't last on any of my dogs. It only reaches half of her head. Another thing is that he slides to the side. There are elastic bands that wrap around the legs, but it seems very uncomfortable for them. I wish there was a second strap that goes further into the stomach.

I ordered this for our 75 lb lab and it fits perfectly. It's a thick material that keeps it dry, unlike thin layers of material that ooze through. He wasn't too keen on it, as you can see in the picture, but mostly because I told him to 'stay'. He's not wearing a coat or clothes so it took him a few times to get used to it but we had constant rain this weekend and he finally gave up.
