Great for knife lovers

I have folding and fixed blade knives that are custom made and cost over $500+. This little sharpener makes all my knives razor sharp! It's simple and in my case protection from idiots. I have tried rocks, passages etc and NOTHING works like that. The better the steel of your knife, the better the sharpness of this tool will be. I have a San Mai III Steel Cold Steel Outdoorsman that is 20 years old and is now back to the condition I got from the factory. I highly recommend trying this product…

Pros
  • Power & Hand Tools
Cons
  • Long Lead Time

I have one, got one for my son in law for Christmas and bought the second one for myself. Based on how well the Guided Field Sharpener works I just bought the Guided Sharpening System (with upgrade kit) so yeah you could say I'm a fan of it. First, it gives a really good edge to all my blades, pocket knives, field knives, and kitchen knives. Second, it happens very quickly, usually in less than a minute. That's because, third, I keep my sharpener on the coffee table and often touch up my blades

Pros
  • Hand tool
Cons
  • Only available in black

Even better than expected!

I am a fan of sharp knives and have used a variety of systems over the years and have settled on the Edge Pro Apex System. I wanted something I could toss in my backpack and take to the field to keep things going and have been considering that option for a while. Finally I pulled the trigger and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The first night I received it I tried it on a couple of old pocket knives, one of which was pretty dull. In just a few minutes, both blades shaved the hair off…
