Surprisingly Lovely Substrate

This aquarium substrate is lovely AND functional. Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice at Pet Supplies, I now realize that a substrate is an important part of aquarium health, and the Frosted Lavender is a great choice. The color is subtle and adds a nice touch of elegance to my tank. The only downside is that it can take a bit of time to rinse thoroughly before using. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase and would recommend this product.

Pros
  • Beautiful frosted lavender color adds a unique and appealing touch to aquariums.
Cons
  • Pigments in the dye may fade over time and the color may become less vibrant.

LOVE IT! Perfect lavender color!

I love this gravel! Perfect lavender, not purple BARNEY (like the big stores. It has a nice sheen and is smaller than pictured but that's ok. It looks more like gravel in a tank than 'rocks'. I would definitely go again to buy!

Pros
  • Pet Supplies
Cons
  • No Instructions

I love the matte Pure Water Pebbles.

They are very beautiful! They are small pebbles, not gravel! I like them better than the fine gravel most people use. I think they look better and are easier to clean. I think my frogs and snails love them more too. That was my second color and I don't think I'll ever go back to Gravel.

Pros
  • Fish & Aquatic Animals
Cons
  • You could choose a newer model
