Adult challenge!

Difficult even for adults. It took a long time to organize the pieces, then the sections, and then put this 3D puzzle together. Only kids who are passionate about jigsaw puzzles can see this from start to finish. We had this on our dinner table for 6 months before it was finished. The dome was difficult because the pieces are loose, but the structure eventually rounds out. You should definitely follow the instructions for this. Can't wait to pass it on to someone else to enjoy!

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Poor presentation lends itself best to puzzles

I'm not a fan of puzzles. I made a 6000 piece LEGO project and loved it, so I was expecting something less whimsical but conceptually similar. The LEGO pieces came in numbered bags of about 200 pieces each. In that box lay a huge heap of indistinguishable pieces; Obviously this creates puzzles, but it's a bad way. I'd happily pay a few bucks more to go straight to the building and bypass the sorting. Maybe sorting should be part of the fun, but looking at this stack makes my heart beat faster.

Challenging puzzles

Great puzzle. The pieces are nice and firm. The pieces are easy to determine if they fit together right or wrong despite the 950 pieces included in the puzzle. Some of the curvature is a little tricky to get into the correct "hold" position, but it can be achieved with a little effort. Also, a guide isn't required, although it can be helpful. This puzzle can be fully assembled by looking at the picture on the box. The only downside I would note is the number of extra non-puzzle pieces included…

For puzzle lovers and budding architects

I bought two Wrebbit puzzles as a Christmas present for my teenager who is now interested in architecture. First she wanted to build Neuschwanstein Castle, and we just finished the Taj Mahal. As already mentioned, there is a lot of styrofoam leftovers in the box that need to be discarded when laying out the pieces. (We kept the leftovers in a box and sealed it with tape. When we combed through the box later, we found two "missing" pieces.) I could have saved us some time if I'd just read the…

The bunny is back! Suitable for 3D Puzzles

So if you're an old Wrebbit Puzz-3D fan but are confused between Wrebbit 3D and Puzz-3D Puzzles from Winning Solutions, here's the story of how I found them understand. The original Puzz 3D foam puzzles were created by the Montreal company Wrebbit. They created many puzzles in the 90's and were eventually bought by Hasbro in 2005. Hasbro took over production and moved it to the US and in 2006 they discontinued the line. In 2011, Winning Solutions' Hasbro line was put back into production and…
