When we unpacked it, we couldn't erase what we had written. There were no instructions so I took a look at the box which had a tiny locking switch on the side next to the battery area. i was very disappointed with this board. I recently bought similar LED boards and assumed these writing pads were similar. It's not like this. Two differences stood out; Although the pen has a hole for attaching a string from the pen to the board, there is no filament in the box. I used the yarn I had but it's not perfect.
