Disappointing Rebuild Kit for Toyota 2JZGTE

After I put it to the test, I was left with an overheating engine and poor power output. The kit seemed to be missing some important components and the instructions were unclear. The only positive was that the parts were made of decent quality materials. However, the lack of functionality outweighs the durability. Overall, I would not recommend this rebuild kit for anyone in need of reliable engine upgrades.

Pros
  • High-quality materials used in rebuild
Cons
  • Only compatible with Toyota 2JZGTE engine

Don't buy wasted

Don't buy stretched for 30 minutes and still not big enough to fit Wasted money is better to buy on eBay. One on eBay will fit after a few minutes of stretching

Pros
  • Gaskets
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than others

Poor quality bearings and seals

I stretched the o-ring as instructed and it didn't stay stretched for more than a few seconds to fit the groove. I began to gradually become more aggressive in trying to get the ring in place. It started to tear, so I quickly put it back together before it shrank. Needless to say, the mechanism began to leak after a few hundred miles. Also, I believe that a real quality Viton should be light brown in color. This item was black. I have learned that there are many counterfeits of these o-rings…

Pros
  • Automotive
Cons
  • Hard to tell
