Dull Blades!

I must have received a box of bad blades. The tips are not sharp at all (leave a torn edge). I only opened the packaging 3 months later and now it's too late to return it. I've used X-Acto Blades throughout my career as a graphic artist before computers, when we used them to "glue" all of our artboards. The X-Acto knife is like a pen or pencil to me. I also bought an X-Acto knife (Z Series #1 Precision Knife - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00IR9FH90/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_1) and it doesn't look

Pros
  • The sharpest and most durable X-Acto blade
Cons
  • Obsolete model

Blades from last year

I bought one of those 100 packs 3 1/2 years ago. My blades were very good, clearly genuine. I don't know exactly how much I used, maybe 20-25. It's nice not having to worry about buying blades every few months. And a pack of 100 is much cheaper than buying a pair of blades at once. I use my Exacto knife for almost everything I cut, so I love them. I usually pick up a new blade when I have a project that requires the tiniest detail, and these blades have always worked for me. I keep the old…

Pros
  • atomically sharpened and zirconium nitride coated

Great blades, but no donor!

Love these blades and X-Acto is the gold standard for cutting tools but that doesn't include a great way to store blades. Although they are sharp and cut great with great precision, all common sense is gone as the 100 blades are wrapped in kraft paper with a disposable overwrap. This is the silliest design I have seen on a product and for the price they sell you for you they would think they want to be a bit more careful with their customers but no! However, all 100 blades fell out of the pouch

Pros
  • Compatible with Z Series #1 precision knives and Type A handle X-Acto
Cons
  • Can't remember but there was something
